Privacy Policy
Mount Lab Vault takes the privacy of its clients and website visitors seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.
Last reviewed: July 2025. This policy applies to the website operated by Mount Lab Vault and to the personal data of individuals who contact us or use our services.
1. What Data We Collect
We only collect what is genuinely needed. That means:
-
Contact form submissions
When you fill out our contact form, we receive your name, email address, and any message or service preferences you include. No other data is gathered through the form.
-
Cookies and analytics
Where you have given consent, analytics cookies may collect anonymised data about how pages are used — which sections receive attention, how long a visit lasts. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
-
Service correspondence
If you become a client, we will hold your contact details, address, service preferences, and any notes relevant to your space. This is necessary to carry out the service reliably.
-
Technical data
Standard server logs may record IP addresses, browser type, and referral source for security and performance purposes. This data is not linked to personal identities.
Legal basis: Contact enquiries are processed on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to your request). Service data is processed on the basis of contract performance. Analytics data, where applicable, is processed only with your consent.
2. How We Use Your Data
-
To respond to your enquiry and, if you proceed, to arrange and carry out cleaning visits according to the agreed schedule.
-
To maintain service records — including visit notes — so that the care we provide remains consistent over time.
-
To improve this website, using anonymised analytics data where you have consented to this.
-
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal data to third parties. Where third-party tools are used (such as analytics providers), data shared with them is governed by their own privacy policies.
-
We do not send marketing communications without your explicit agreement.
Data retention: Enquiries that do not result in a service arrangement are kept for no longer than 12 months. Active client records are retained for the duration of the service relationship and for a reasonable period thereafter, in line with applicable obligations.
3. How We Protect Your Data
-
Encrypted transmission
All data passed between your browser and this website is encrypted via HTTPS. Contact form submissions travel over a secure connection.
-
Restricted access
Client data is accessible only to those members of the Mount Lab Vault team who need it to carry out the service. Access is not granted casually or broadly.
-
Breach notification
In the unlikely event of a data breach that poses a risk to individuals, we will notify those affected and relevant authorities without undue delay.
4. Your Rights
You have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
-
Access
You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you at any time.
-
Correction
If any data we hold about you is inaccurate, we will correct it promptly on request.
-
Erasure
You may ask us to delete your personal data. Where no legal obligation requires us to keep it, we will do so.
-
Portability
Where technically feasible, you may request that your data be provided in a portable format.
-
Objection
You may object to the processing of your data where it is carried out on the basis of legitimate interests.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@mount-labvault.com or via our contact page. We aim to respond within 30 days.
5. Your Rights and Opt-Out Instructions
You are not required to provide any personal information when using this website. If you prefer not to share your data, you may:
-
Avoid filling out contact forms, account registrations, or any data-submitting features.
-
Disable cookies through your browser settings (see our Cookie Policy for more detail).

Japan Act on Protection of Personal Information (APPI)
Mount Labvault operates in compliance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (個人情報の保護に関する法律), as amended in April 2022. As an entity providing cleaning services for homes and offices from our office at 〒543-0001 Osaka, Osaka-shi, Tennoji-ku, Uehommachi 6-2-15, we are classified as a personal information handling business operator under the Act.

We do not transfer personal information to third parties without your prior consent except where required by Japanese law, where necessary for the protection of human life, health or property, or where cooperating with national or local government authorities carrying out affairs prescribed by law.
Under the APPI, you have the right to request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, cessation of use, or cessation of provision to third parties of your retained personal data.
