These terms and conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Mount Lab Vault. Please read them carefully before engaging our services or using this website.

Japan Act on Protection of Personal Information (APPI)

Mount Labvault operates in compliance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (個人情報の保護に関する法律), as amended in April 2022. As an entity providing cleaning services for homes and offices from our office at 〒543-0001 Osaka, Osaka-shi, Tennoji-ku, Uehommachi 6-2-15, we are classified as a personal information handling business operator under the Act.

When you submit a request through our contact form or arrange service bookings, we process only the categories of data described in this policy. We do not transfer personal information to third parties without your prior consent except where required by Japanese law, where necessary for the protection of human life, health or property, or where cooperating with national or local government authorities carrying out affairs prescribed by law.

Under the APPI, you have the right to request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, cessation of use, or cessation of provision to third parties of your retained personal data. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at +81 6-6771-4823 or through our contact page. We will respond within a reasonable period, not exceeding two weeks from receipt of your request.

Records relating to cleaning assessments are retained for 3 years from the last completed service appointment, after which they are securely deleted. Cookie consent preferences are stored in your browser and may be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

1. User Obligations and Conduct

In engaging with this website or Mount Lab Vault's services, you agree to the following:

You are at least 18 years of age, or acting with the authority of a legal adult, when requesting services or entering into any arrangement with Mount Lab Vault.
1.2
You will provide accurate information when making enquiries or bookings. Providing false or misleading information may result in cancellation of services without liability on Mount Lab Vault's part.

You will not use this website or its content for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose, nor attempt to interfere with its security or operation.
1.4
You will ensure that any space for which a service is booked is safe, accessible, and free from conditions that would pose a risk to our team members at the time of the visit.
1.5
You will treat all Mount Lab Vault team members with respect during visits. We reserve the right to withdraw a service where this expectation is not met.

2. Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
2.2
By submitting a contact form or entering a service arrangement, you consent to us holding and using your data for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy.
2.3
Applicable data protection law in Japan governs the collection and handling of your personal information. You retain the rights described in the Privacy Policy at all times.

3. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

This website and the information it contains are provided in good faith and for general informational purposes. Mount Lab Vault makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of the content.

Mount Lab Vault's liability for any loss or damage arising in connection with our services is limited to the value of the service in question, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from use of this website or our services, including but not limited to loss of income, data, or business opportunity.
3.4
Force majeure: Mount Lab Vault shall not be held liable for delays or failures in performing its obligations caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control — including severe weather, public health events, infrastructure failure, or other unforeseen events — provided we notify you promptly and take reasonable steps to reschedule.
3.5
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mount Lab Vault and its team members from any claims arising from your breach of these terms or from your misuse of our services or this website.

4. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising from them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Osaka.

In the first instance, we encourage any concerns to be raised directly with us. Most matters can be resolved through straightforward conversation.
4.3
Severability: If any clause of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining clauses continue in full effect.

These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the site or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The current version is always available on this page.
